Residential EPC's            

An Energy Performance Certificate tells you how energy efficient a home is on a scale of A – G with A being the most efficient. It also tells you about the impact the property has on the environment, better rated homes should have less impact through carbon dioxide (Co2) emissions.

The average UK property is in bands D – E for both ratings. The certificate includes recommendations on ways to improve the homes energy efficiency to save you money and help the environment.

The EPC has been part of the Home Information Pack since its rollout on the 1st August 2007. It is now required on the sale, let and build of all residential property.
